Our contracted, over night carrier is FedEx. The current, flat rate, small box shipping charge is $58.00. This charge must be prepaid to Vivid Reptiles prior to shipping. For large/heavy shipments an additional incremental fee may apply. This service is conditional and may not be available if Vivid Reptiles considers weather conditions too hazardous to safely ship. Shipping via an overnight carrier requires the customer to be available to receive the shipment. The absolute, safest way to receive animals is to have them held for shipment at your local FedEx office.
Customers will be notified well in advance of shipping. Shipments will not go out without customer permission and reconfirmation. A detailed email with tracking numbers and other useful information is sent to the customer prior to shipping. Vivid Reptiles completes all the paperwork; the customer need only receive the animals.
FedEx requires that the address receiving reptiles be associated with a business. Home businesses are okay. Strange though it may be, please provide some sort of business name with the address submitted on the shipping form.
How to make a purchase
The easiest way to make a purchase from Vivid Reptiles is to use the "Request Invoice" button in the upper left of this page or in the button cluster on the "Available" page. This will send you to a form page that will take your animal requests and submit them for real time, updated availability and pricing. Invoicing is usually performed every 24 to 48 hours unless we are out of the office.

Any animal may be returned within seven days of receipt for a full refund. Return shipping cost may be paid at the discretion of Vivid Reptiles. This guarantee expires after seven days of receipt of the animal(s).
Update Notification Sign up
Customers can sign up for automatic notification when updates are made to the "Available" page. Update subscribers get notified of new additions/deletions on the Available page and new gallery additions generally 48 hours before updates are posted on more public venues. Sign up for update notices by clicking the "Update Notice Sign-up" button in the button clusters located in the upper left portion on all pages within this website. The information required for sign up is minimal and is used only by Vivid Reptiles. To unsubscribe, use the contact button and simply type "unsubscribe."
