VRHD - Summer Phase Pigmentation Detail

These two body
sections are on the same snake and illustrate the variation in blotch pigmentation, even on the same animal. Upon close examination in natural light, blotch coloration is revealed to be quite complicated. The dominant color is a light purple or blue with lesser amounts of yellow, reds, pinks and white mixed throughout. The color ratios vary from blotch to botch in interesting ways. Blue and yellow or purple and yellow - they look pretty nice either way.
