VRHD - Summer Phase This is the same snake as the previous one but this photo better illustrates the fairly radical shift in tone of yellow as one proceeds from head to tail. This photo also makes visible an interesting ribbon of bright yellow that runs down middle dorsum through the pattern blotches to where it seems to disappear on the tail.
