River Road Alterna A clutch of Rivers. The mother of this clutch was a typical River Road morph, thin orange primaries bracketed with simple alternates. She was bred to a Chaos River Road male. The outcome seems to indicate that the gene responsible for the Chaos morphology is dominant. The fly in the ointment, however, is the innate variability of this species/locality. Without statistical work this remains an anecdotal observation. |
