Durango Mountain Pine Snake Adult. This species is highly variable in pattern and color. The main body background color runs the gambit from enamel white to deep yellow. Dorsal blotches range from a deep onyx black to pale tan and are often overlayed with patinas of various derivative colors. The body and blotch color can vary wildly on the same animal as one moves down the length of the snake. This specimen is a F0. |
