"Chaos" River Road Alterna Subadult Chaos River Road alterna. The bright orange on this example wanders asymmetrically through a field of jagged spots and lines as one progresses from head to tail. The Chaos tendency for a black cap over the cephalic scales is in evidence on this animal. The birthmark can be barely made out as a darkened smudge running lengthwise on the upper dorsum of the nuchal area. This is a relatively long specimen - a trait noted in many Chaos specimens. |
