"Chaos" River Road Alterna The birthmark on this Chaos River Road alterna is extensive, overlaying the entire dorsum. As a new hatchling this animal appeared to have a barely detectable brownish cast to the dark dorsal surface. The orange infiltration appears to be increasing with age and should give the finished adult a nice, orange infused patina. The white speckling was not apparent on the hatchling and it appears to be increasing as the snake ages. Photograph graciously provided by Robert Stone. |
