"Chaos" River Road Alterna This Chaos alterna appears nearly solid black in normal lighting. The dorsum is a very dark charcoal formed by what appears to be a coalescence of large, jagged black spots and speckles. The head is a very glossy black. It should prove interesting to see how the black develops with maturation. I suspect the dark areas will expand and acquire the high contrast, white speckles as other similar specimens have. |
