"Chaos" River Road Alterna
Adult
female. One of the early examples of the Chaos gene at work. The orange
on this animal was not much in evidence as a juvenile. The
vertebral striping and orange suffusion in the
nuchal area appeared with the onset of maturity. The Chaos birthmark, covering nearly 1/3 of
the anterior dorsal area, is prominent on this example. This particular pattern is
difficult to verbally describe so we'll leave it to the photograph.
