Black Gap Alterna Yearling. This blair's phase hatched with medium gray and orange saddles that had about a third of the erasures that this yearling currently sports. The halo effect was broadly cast over the juvenile, however, and fueled speculation as to how this specimen's color/pattern would evolve over the maturation process. The entire snake now seems to be under siege from the halo effect with white expanding over the entire animal creating a bleached, stone-washed effect. |
