Black Gap Alterna
Yearling. The pattern/color motif exhibited by this specimen is unique to Black Gap. This animal is in the process of becoming a dark phase while the run away halo effect is obliterating the primaries and elements of the alternates . The resulting effect will be one of snowflakes laid upon a dark background. The darker the animal becomes the more pronounced the effect. Also note the ashen gray head developing - another signature feature of Black Gap alterna. |
